As there seems to be quite a bit of artistic talent around here, I thought I would start a pencil sketch section .....

Another great pic Conty, how did you do the white whiskers on the left, was it a question of leaving white papaer, or drawing them in with something white, can't think you could find a rubber thin enough!! My guess is it's the first one.

haha stanley!!! what are you like LOL

belle i leave the paper true white and dont draw on it where whiskers and any true white bits there might be in the drawing are, rubbing out never really gets the paper back true white although there are times where i have rubbed bits out but i use a putty rubber, they are brilliant. tracey the lady thats commissioned it is coming tomorrow to see it, erghhh i hope she likes it

Conor, your drawing of the doggy is so real I'm gobsmacked. It's got a texture and 3-dimensional quality that a photo could never achieve. Thanks for showing it to all of us here on the forum!

What did we tell you!? You are so lucky to have a bunch of reliable critics and a sales lady in residence! Now then, about the new Ferrari... I think we need to start giving you advice on road survival!

(When he gets famous he will fly the coop and Conor's Corner will sink back into the archive...)

It's the feeding, watering and constant attention that does the trick. Glad you realise this!
