If it isn't renewed after December, when it expires, it might be an idea to grab it. Then we could have it pointing here.
You can do whois lookups on sites like this :
http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/index.jsp
or on Linux and some versions of Windows you can do it directly at the command line.

The link shown by Plugs on the first page should surely have been in the What Grabbed Your Attention thread!

They've changed their home page since the last time I saw it ...... But have a look here ...... Things could really get confusing should any of these other domain names be taken up.
In particular, note in the Select These Available Extensions - oneguyfrombarlick.co.uk - ($38 for 2 years) and in the Other Domains Available For Purchase one-guy-from-bar-lick.co.uk - ($38 for 2 years)

Yes but - try and buy it and they will tell you(correctly), that it is not availabe. All other suffixes seem to be available, but the most common error (in UK anyway), is confusion between .com and .co.uk.

Here's a thought... Could we sue them for using (pinching) our name??

If you put the words: one guy from barlick... or the one word: one guy from barlick... into Google the first page of search results in each case consists only of this co.uk site, so I wouldn't worry about the .com site. Anybody searching on Google is likely to get this site. Anyone with a serious interest in fidning this sitewould know they had got the wrong one if they landed on the .com site.
