New title to cheer us all up!

Seasonal adjustment 'cause Belle said so. All complaints to her!

Title edited for Pluggy. All complaints to him!

Misty dull dry and glass falling but it doesn't look like rain to me at the moment.

It rained gently all day but no weight. Started dry this morning forst thing but it's a re-run of yesterday now. No weight of rain, I shall be looking carefully at Butts Beck in a few minutes, best rain gauge in Barlick.

Sorry about quality, battery down and flash didn't work. More water coming over the cill, must have rained more than I thought. However, a mate tells me there was a spill into the beck yesterday and the environmantal people have been out sampling. A lot of dead trout evidently. By the way, he says the herons are nesting at Greenberfield Locks.

Our weatherman advised us to get all our washing dry today because it is going to throw it down for the next 48 hours. So I did as he suggested.
My garden will enjoy the follow up rains after all the planting I did last week.

Just got back from 10 days in Suffolk & 10 days in Lincolnshire - boy was it hot.  We have a few showers one day in Suffolk and Bank Holiday Saturday a few showers and rain most of yesterday - apart from that it has been fantastic - we have come back looking like a couple of burnt chips!!!!

The garden looks like a jungle - it has all grown so much.

Ah...Moh...I was only saying we hadn't heard from you for a while under the 'Today is the Day' topic. That explains it all.
Isn't it lovely to arrive home from being away and get that first glimpse of your garden though? It usually has Febby scrambling for the lawn mower. There is always something powerfully comforting about being home again...

Weatherman was wrong. We haven't had a drop of rain today (and here was I expecting stair rods)...maybe the front is moving slower than thought or has pushed off to the south and escaped us. Often happens. Must watch the new forecast tonight as I am confused. It was supposed to rain then clear late tomorrow, but who knows what tomorrow will bring now.

Cold and mizzling today, not too much wind to blow the clouds away.

Miserable day here and wind from NE. It wouldn't surprise me if the heating kicks in for twenty minutes....

I'm just sat here admiring a beautiful rainbow, or at least one end of it. I went outside to find the other end, which is at the front of the house. It has been there over a quarter of an hour now. Beautiful colours.

The heating kicked in a couple of times but nothing serious, NE wind, cool and damp. Not flaming June!

A repeat of yesterday but the wind is strong today.  I must admit I put the heating on for an hour last evening, it felt cold and damp.
