Don't bother apologising for bold Moh (if you were going to!) The text on the site seems to have mind of its own and I have just failed to get rid of unwanted italics. Very frustrating!

Last of the dried pea and pork stew last night. Today will be based on black pudding, eggs and baked beans!

I don't know how it happened, a later post was OK.  Roast pork, stuffing, apple sauce, new pots, roast pots, & brussels last night - delayed from Sunday.  Tonight will be cold pork - it is a shame I can't find a recipe for cold pork like the ones for cold beef or lamb.

Moh, if I have a surfeit of cooked pork I fry it and then casserole it with beans. Works well, after all, it's only uncured bacon!

Yesterday was two pork chops. Black pudding today.... Tamworth pork is lovely, very tender and tasty. Seek it out!

Saw a nice recipe for rissoles using cold pork minced - but I don't have a mincer!!  Chicken stir fry with egg noodles tonight.

Out for a quick meal at the pub with friends tonight.
Think they do wood oven pizzas at this pub. Just in the mood for one of those. (can never finish one though...)

Child's portion?

Butcher's day today. Do I fancy pie and peas?

Had home made minced beef pie last night with mash & mushy peas, enough left for a repeat but with chips tonight.

I noticed that Chaudrie's had broth mix in (so winter must be here!) so I bought a bag, PC'd two pork chops, added some carrots and frozen peas and had a pan of fresh nourishing veggie soup.

Veggie soup was so good I beefed it up with potatoes and a big slice of Jack's dog meat. Lovely stuff!

Brisket tonight, think I will pot roast it.  I have some of yesterday's beef casserole, so I will blitz it and it will make lovely gravy to add to the pot.
