Frank said " It may be the internet that is the cause, with people intent on making trouble, having easy access to other like minded individuals"...nearly made a joke about this site but thought better of it!

It has been declared that all 52 people who died in the 7/7 bombings were "unlawfully" killed, that is to say that any failings to prevent those attrocities or on the part of those who tried to assist in the aftermath were not the cause. I agree. It has taken a long time and probably cost a good deal to arrive at this conclusion. Imagine then if bin laden had been taken prisoner, the cost in cash terms and also in lives could have been as horrendous as were his crimes, he was literally caught with his pants down and unarmed, it could have been very different and the outcome less satisfactory. It is Friday, and there will be much wailing, gnashing of teeth and "anger" just as there was dancing in the streets after 9/11. This was in part "pay back" and  the Archbishop of Canterbury should remember that the victims of that hienous crime were not given any chance at all!!!!

Frank, nothing to do with the eyes themselves, just the muscles that keep them aligned. I have always had aberrations in that department and they tend to shift one way or another over the years. As it happens they have shifted back to where they were four years ago, hence the result.

For the past few years I have regularly seen a young lady jogging through the village on her early morning run. No sign of her for the past few weeks and I assumes she had moved away.

This morning a superb sight of said young lady jogging.......whilst  pushing a pram in front of her. Good lass. Nolic

I think youare a very brave man to admit to having aberrations in your head.

Swifty, obviously my powers of observation were out of kilter. I just noted a few weeks ago that I hadn't seen her for a while. Nolic

With the advent of complete switching from anolog to digital television by 2013, the Government, in its wisdom, has announced that it will be giving people who receive the maximum rate of pension a free set-top box.

Drats! Looks like I will miss out.  I cannot claim the maximum rate of pension since I also receive a part UK pension.

The worlds last typewriter manufacturer has ceased production, so hold on to yours, they will be on demand as antiques

Nice to see the McCanns surfacing again, for a breath of publicity.
