Cooking Temp Conversions for you

225f = 110c = Gas Mark 1/4 = Very Slow
250f = 120/130c = Gas Mark 1/2 = Very Slow
275f = 140c = Gas Mark 1 = Slow
300f = 150c = Gas Mark 2 = Slow
325f = 160/170c = Gas Mark 3 = Moderate
350f = 180c = Gas Mark 4 = Moderate
375f = 190c = Gas Mark 5 = Moderately Hot
400f = 200c = Gas Mark 6 = Moderately Hot
425f = 220c = Gas Mark 7 = Moderately Hot
450f = 230c = Gas MArk 8 = Hot
475f = 240c = Gas Mark 9 = Very Hot

Please remember this is a guide only and not exact conversions.

As a rule of thumb Celsius is roughly half the Fahrenheit temperature.

Fan assisted ovens are usually set approximately 25 degrees Celsius (i.e. approximately 50 degrees Fahrenheit) lower than others and cooking time is reduced by 10 minutes for every hour of cooking time.

Different manufacturers and oven types do vary, so always refer to your cooker instruction book.
