Is there still a clogger in Waterfoot.?.....I have a pair of "Fancies" that I bought in 1975/6 and I can't remember the guy's name that made  them ...(in what was really his Front Room !).

He was getting on a bit  then, so I'm guessing he's gone to that great Cobbler's (oooph , there's THAT word again !)  in the Sky !

Bloody hell Bradders, are you psychic, we were only talking about "Cloggy Crawshaw" today!!

The old clog shop was on Millar Barn Lane in Waterfoot opposite the Grammar School, Mr Crawshaw lived in Cowpe village and I knew his son very well, he went on to study heraldry in London and still lives around the valley somewhere.....

The art classes are at Milltown Gallery, as Belle says, the more the merrier!!!!!

Hi Tom,
Not really looked at steeplejacks corner yet. I was interested in where the art workshop of Belles is going to be held?
Might get dads steeplejack photo album out one day, some interesting stuff in there.
                                                                                                                                          Regards,Ken.

Ken, get posting those pics! A bit of fresh blood is just what SC needs at the moment. You'll find a link to the previous segment of the topic at the head of each one you look at. Beware, there's a lot of stuff on there!
