I went up Letcliffe today in the sunshine with the birds singing and only a light breeze from the NW to spoil things so I decided you were right and it's probably about time we started to be optimistic.  However.....  have you seen the forecast for Easter?

Just been able to see down to Barlick for the first time today. Dare I say ...it feels a little bit fresher. The humidity inside is still over 80%. Anything that might grow mould is thinking about it......

Really hot and humid here today, but no sun, just hot mist..made me reappraise my definition of summer...the heat is less important than the presence of sunshine, as far as I am concerned.
I have noticed the starlings too Stanley...what do they know?

Yes, were back ... excellent!!  9.15pm here, it's been a long day and night without OG.  Thanks Doc Smile

Cool and very overcast today, I think we can expect to see the sun on Thursday and Friday, rain on and off till then.  So much for the first day of Spring, it'll be a while yet.

All thru the fields and meadows gay  ....  Enjoy

Everything to look forward to though Cathy! Probably all downhill over here from now on although 1st September in Barlick is a good day. Blue sky and wall to wall sunshine at the moment, a bit of a breeze but a nice day so far.

Ian is right, fresher and first day of Autumn I reckon......  A slight shower but sun is out again.  Could be a cool night.

This is the first time I have managed to get onto OG during our UK trip...though we are headed for the Welsh Border tomorrow and for all I know reception will again be lousy. Our cottage (near Clay Cross) was enshrouded in mist yesterday, we got lost in Mansfield and couldn't find the car (errrr...I'm sure it was Febby's fault)...and today we have claimed it a 'No Car Day' and have tramped about on foot (carrying both the Sunglasses and the Brolley). Think we used both actually...
But it doesn't matter. We are on holiday and it won't stop us. We are just LOVING all this greenery...

That's the thing to concentrate on Maz.  Very fresh autumnal morning here in Barlick with clear sky, heavy dew, falling glass and rain to come later.

Hmm intermittant sun, greyish sky. Not the most promising in Rochdale, On Sunday we noticed  how much better the weather was on the Burnley side of \Deerplay Moor than the Rochdale side
