I went up Letcliffe today in the sunshine with the birds singing and only a light breeze from the NW to spoil things so I decided you were right and it's probably about time we started to be optimistic.  However.....  have you seen the forecast for Easter?

Bright with some blue sky this morning - clouds were half way down Hambleton hills - we could see the town and the top of the hill.

Not a bad day in Barlick, hardly any rain.  Heaviest shower I have seen for a long time on Sunday, serious rain for about twenty minutes.  Ground is drying out a bit......

Here too - nice at 6am but pouring down now - doing exactly what the weather forecasters said.

Horrendous rain, making an awful noise splashing down on the roof of the conservatory as we have breakfast... Even the cat has only poked her nose through the cat flap!

Off to the gym and a swim and hoping for something better when we come out

Our weatherman has just told us that we have just endured the coldest winter on record (for us) ... I know it was cold because we had no heater until the last few weeks ... but, I keep telling these SA Aussies that they don't know what a real winter is!!  Anyway, hate to tell you but we had 20C today, 22C for Wednesday then rain, 22C for Thursday, oh yes and 24C on Friday.    Ah, Spring  Cool

All thru the fields and meadows gay  ....  Enjoy

Mags says it is nice in Perth as well.  Dry flags and 8C here.....  Clear sky, definitely Autumn.

Pissing down and windy at 0530.  Stopped raining now but grey, windy and a welly walk coming up.  It's being so cheerful that keeps me going.
