As there seems to be quite a bit of artistic talent around here, I thought I would start a pencil sketch section .....

Here it is Conor, Samuel Bultler was saddened to find a beautiful nude statue stored in an attic because it was unclothed. It gets better, it was a classical statue 'Discobulos', the discus thrower.

Anyone designing an interior for a lingerie shop would bite your hand off. Make sure you charge plenty! Give some thought to the closet designer bit. (That will get me into trouble won't it.)

I sympathise with you Comrade and know exactly what the problem was, I jumped to the wrong conclusion as well. That little tease Conor was pulling our strings!

Can't see anything wrong with that as long as you keep proper accounts so that you can prove to the tax man that you actually donated. Who knows, it could sell well.

my auntie is a business manager in HSBC so i will ask her to do it for me, im sure she wont mind seeing as i dont know much about tax but she will as her husband is self employed and she does his accounts.

there is method in my madness, i am hoping i could get more publicity for my collection via papers etc if one of the collection is sharing its profts with charity. i dont know if its good business sence or cheeky, i am hoping more will get to see my other drawings this way, anyway its only an idea at the moment, gotta go dads waiting for me to take me to modelling job... hope theres some hotties haha

Nothing mad about it Conor. Your work needs exposure and as long as you don't sell the copyright with the prints it can only improve your profile with no expense.

gezz how weird is this.. ?  i have been asked last night at my modelling job to be a male model for the breast cancer charity night in nov.. and i never mentioned what i had in mind to do. is that fate..?? or a sign..? anyway i think my mind is now made up. i am going to do it.

its going to take me a while to get everything done so i am going to get it all ready for next years oct breast cancer awareness month, hopefully i will be asked to model again on the evening do and i will put the original up for auction on that night

anyway the modelling went well, i had a good time but when i got home i had had a phone call to say my girlfriends been rushed into hospital, shes quite sick, and i am worried out of my mind, shes on a drip and has been given morphine, im in school and cant do anything. what a nightmare. hopefully she will be home soon

Congratulatiions re the above Conor.  About the painting with the pink bow, I imagine you would have to keep it quite modest to work in with an organisation like that.
Hope your girlfriend is much better soon.

Don't get me wrong I think your idea is a great one Conor, I just think the painting will have to suggest modesty that's all.  You'll be portraying mums, daughters, grandma's etc, it would have to be with respect not suggestiveness.  Maybe if the painting was done in a hazy fashion, with the pink bow standing out... ??  Just an idea.

Having lost a daughter to breast cancer I am all in favour of anything that raises awareness and money.

Hope your girlfiend is recovering Conor.
