Dry and frosty this morning. Glass still rising slowly as high passes over from the NW. It will not get warmer until the glass falls. Still, it's dry!

Oh no!! Keep it up there Frank. I keep thinking of our friends living in their caravan near Aberdeen whilst he has his chemo/radiotheraphy, they say they are coping OK.

From +12 to -14 overnight from Saturday to Sunday, or a drop of 45 degrees on the old scale, but still no snow and non even forecast until Thursday, winter will be over soon.

Quiet morning in Barlick and looks like another decent day. Glass stirring a bit downwards but still above 29.5" I'm back into Letcliffe walks thank God and Jack and I are enjoying the normal level of exercise. We had small patches of blue sky yesterday and it's noticeable now that the days are quietly lengthening. That's the big bonus for me.

A very pleasant day yesterday despite it being a bit chilly. We walked over Weets from Letcliffe then spent the afternoon doing outside jobs like stacking logs and generally tidying up. Its good to feel well again after the flu.

Light wet snow, not sticking. Glass falling fast towards 29". Not as good a day.

Just back from a walk round the town, Bitterly cold wind and pavements are starting to freeze. Two gritter wagons in five minutes on Skipton Road. Very little wind in the upper atmosphere. Vapour trails from high-flying jets not feathering in the wind but staying clear cut until they disappear.
