Tidley I used that yesterday, when my son was trying on his Blues. I need someone who can mount medals he has a couple Kosovo and Afghanistan. I had then mounted "Dress" but he tells me that is the Army way !!! the RM have then "Swing" mounted so anyone know who can do it ???? cost £50 to have them done " Dress "

A more general comment on medals to take advantage of this thread. If you are interesetd in medals have a look at the web site of Collectors Corner. They are located in Cornwall and specialise in military medals and badges. Alan McLoughlin is the man to talk to - he's very knowledgeable and helpful and has " a military family". Last time I popped in there was a detailed discussion of Sten guns, "you know, the old ones with the wooden stock".
e-mailed http://www.servicecomm.co.uk/ and they sent a reply within an hour, they will do it for £16 which is a good price. They also sent a contact name and address etc which is very useful. Thanks
Tizer I will look at the link, I have been buying up trios on e-bay, they can still be purchased cheaply and one day I maybe able to unite them with the families
