As there seems to be quite a bit of artistic talent around here, I thought I would start a pencil sketch section .....

quote: Stanley wrote: The uploads are good Conor and you did well, kept slipping in the promo clips! It's all going well but I wish she hadn't kept saying they were as good as photographs! They're far, far better of course. When Canaletto was painting Venice and London, people probably kept saying "Hey, that's as good as a photograph". Then someone said "What's a photograph?". So they had to invent the camera.

Loved the video clips Conty, you have a great accent! Nice to see the finished Tiger too, and hear that galleries want to sign you up when your 18..maybe Art college will have to live without you eh?

Oh how wonderful...partly because I am stil amazed by technology and always blown away by the fact that I can watch what is happening on the other side of the globe at all (tee hee... always get a thrill out of that!)....but I really did enjoy seeing you Conty. Thought you handled yourself very well. (Don't know many 17 year olds with such ability) How tall are you? Gosh...you looked very tall compared to Vanessa. Watched it on my Ipad, and turned it round to show my hubby and explain who you were...(.I must have rattled on about you to him in the past because he acted as though he knew who I was talking about). So pleased for you...
get your people to phone my people and we will do lunch...MAZ |

Marilyn I am 6ft 6 , i would say Vanessa was a normal height she said she was 5 ft 9 but she looked smaller next to me, but then everyone does :0
Things are still strange, i had fan mail this morning!! people looking for me to sign things and post them back haha its so funny, i cant get my head round it, anyway the training is keeping me grounded , no way will the lads let it go to my head, they take the p.... out of me and i enjoy my time letting off all that steam :)
oh and the Tiger that was shown on the TV isnt finished yet thats why they looked at it still on my drawing board, ive worked on it a few hours today but i think ive still got a few more days work left to do.
the trouble is now my days have got alot shorter with answering calls and signing things, i think ive probably lost 2 hours day of drawing time.maybe things will start to calm down a bit now but at the moment its not looking that way.
haha moh probably just as well, i sound like a farmer!! but thankyou cathy its kind of you to say but i know i sound west country! oohh arrr
Belle i honestly dont know what to think or do about collage, i think i am going to play this one day at a time and just see what happens. but im still planning on turning up september at the moment. haha i hope they have some red carpet!! hahaha just kidding!!

Heady days, enjoy it, you sound perfectly grounded to me! All well deserved, there's an old Scottish saying, 'You get back exactly what you put in'. There's another I like as well, 'When a man isn't fishing he should be mending his nets'.
