The small conical emitters are being installed on the lamp posts in Skipton Road. No news from Mrs Trelliss. Only good thing is that Turkey foil is on sale in the Cathedral of Chice. Bit thicker than usual brand. Good for lining beanies to block the transmissions.

Salford shooting , one suspect 15 the other 16, why are we allowing such young people access to guns, shurley should be illegal. Arguement apparently because person would not tell them the time ( were they expecting the victim to look at his mobile and then make off with that ? ). Meanwhile peace and goodwill.

As this thread has also taken the post Xmas point of view, I must relate this: As we sat around the breakfast table in deepest Norfolk, my daughter pointed out that I had forgotten to get out the chocolate variety packs. She has been in California for a month and therefore knew exactly what I had purchased for the day. "Not got any" I replied munching away on my bacon and egg. "Just check" said hopeful daughter. I did, and she got a surprise Easter Egg! It surprised me as well!

Dont know if it was the wind , noticed one item on former Rainhall building , hanging vertically downwards tip pointing generally toward middle earth , swinging in the breeze by a thread, blue LEDs somewhat forlorn in the morning light that was not quite bright today.

The last of the present series of Brian Cox's The Infinite Monkey Cage (radio 4) was good fun and all about Christmas and Santa Claus and working out how Santa might us quantum mechanics to get around the world in such a short time, or use wormholes in space and the like. They had Richard Dawkins on and he's a great believer in Christmas and Santa Claus!

Christmas Decorations stowed neatly away. Got a bit cross with myself for hanging SO MANY baubles from our Wisteria Vine. It was a bit of a workout retrieving them all again. (they did look lovely though)
get your people to phone my people and we will do lunch...MAZ |

Nothing more depressing than Xmas lights being battered by strong winds and heavy rain in early January....

12th Night is the 5th of January by my reckoning. This is traditionally the time to take down the last of your decs. Sally started ours yesterday but some will remain until the 5th.
