I went up Letcliffe today in the sunshine with the birds singing and only a light breeze from the NW to spoil things so I decided you were right and it's probably about time we started to be optimistic.  However.....  have you seen the forecast for Easter?

A bit nippy at 6.30 this morning. Been in Bolton and just driven back over Turton Moor. What a lovely, sunny  autumn day it is. Nolic

First thing was great.  Nippy, clear and mist in bottoms.  Very heavy dew.  Glass high and steady and moon just coming off full.

Not bad here,  in Shaw(Oldham), It's warm, with some sun I can also see slight movement from the trees in the light breeze, but otherwise  not bad for Autumn me thinks.

Same here James, nice autumn evening and clear as a bell, you can see 40 miles up into the Dales from Bank Street.

Cool nights, heavy dew and lovely days and the glass is as high as it has been all summer.  Couldn't be better......  Just emptied Jack and the sky is clear as a bell with a half moon high above.

It was a lovely day here as well, found this on the net, not altogether helpful but makes you realise how old the phrase is.

Even better day in Barlick but a slower start.  Off to Letcliffe with Jack now.  Glass just starting to fall back slightly.......

Well I'm sat up in bed surrounded by things to occupy myself with, still nursing this awful cold I have.   And the weather - cool and rainy.  Great!   Cry

We are slightly cloudy this morning but I think it will improve.  Bedding out on line at 06:00.

Bedding out at 0600 hrs Stanley?
(Mattress as well?). Didn't realise you had developed a 'problem'...

Yep, I agree...Perfect day Cazza! I dug most of my weeds out and fertilised the garden beds...planted some new seedlings....washed the car (!)...and then suffered back spasms after all that.
