More pics from the archive. Filling in some of the smaller streets around the town centre. Enjoy...

If it was only last night it should still be in your browser history. Use the drop down arrow, to the right of your address bar, and see if you recognise any of the sites listed.

Many thanks Wendy, that is indeed the one, Big Kev, automatic clean up schedule removed that possibilty. A word of explanation now, I have the Rev, Warners book but the bits I was looking for are clarified on the PDF Document. What I am attempting to construct is an updateable map of Barlick and the surounding area from whatever information I can find plus imput from family documents etc, The locations of known buildings at certain times in the past is very important and should enable me to produce a more accurate map than the quickly done one on the last page. Once again, Many thanks for your help, Regards,Thomo.

That was the lady who came to see me and mistakenly attributed Oneguy to me. That's why she quotes Oneguy as a source. Since then of course I have written my history of the town which can be found in the library and for sale on Lulu.com.

Stumbled across this pic of Back Railway Street in 1980 when it was unpaved. We forget so quickly!

bits of tarmac over the cobbles is lifting and shifting around the smaller roads abd backways around town , its making walking quite tricky.
