I agree Cathy, that's why I buy the ones I like. Everyone comments on SG at four years and that's the original drawing because I commissioned it. Just think what it could be worth in a hundred years! I want the knicker pic because I like it so much so it's OK that it's a high quality scan.

as for the wallace n gromit, blimey that was years ago, i guess that was one of my first steps in discovering that i could not only draw but enjoyed model making too. i loved it. espically my time working at aardmans.
but like my parents say i need to try different things, even horrible jobs. back breaking work and boring work. so that i come out the other end having made clear choices for what i really want for myself in the future.
so far i can honestly say the only work i have really enjoyed was aardmans. but that could be that i was working with alot of like minded people that i enjoyed it so much, occasionally aardmans still comment on my art work so i dont think they have forgotton me
the offical olympic artist kevin whitney still keeps in touch with me, he gives me a ring and he always cheers me up with his posh swearing LOL. a dream would be to give him a hand at the London Olympic games. its just a dream but who knows

Just saying waht I believe Conor, dangerous stuff! Nick Parks is a mate of Daniel Meadows and he gave jack, Daniel's son permission to make me a Wallace as a present.
Here's the pic Dan did of me and Wallace. I made the brass base for him and stuck him back together after he got broken in the post.

i love wallace n gromit, i always have from very young, i like how its as entertaining for adults as well as children, ive still got all my models stood in a glass cabinet, but they are all looking a bit cracked, thats the problem with plasicine it doesnt last.
have you still got him stanley? or has he fallen apart?
nolic yeah i guess your right, ive not gone back through the posts, but i guess some of my life story is on here, quite a bit i dont write down as its too much and i dont want you all to think that im a big head or something, but i do chat about anything to do with my art and my experience's trying different work, i like hearing your veiws and comparing them, you must get fed up with me as it is hehe

We don't get fed up with you anymore than we get fed up with Wallace & Grommit! As a scientist I've much enjoyed the W&G's World of Inventions programme which showed some marvellous devices. When I was a young child I loved cartoons like Popeye and Bugs Bunny and wanted to make cartoons when I grew up. It didn't work because I have zero artistic talent - I could come up with lots of ideas but could never draw them. I'm still wondering what I'll be when I grow up!
