Got very threatening for about an hour yesterday evening but no thunder and only a light shower. Glass still creeping up, 29.5" this morning. Two dry walks yesterday, could be the same today.

Clear sky, dew, slight breeze and glass steady on 29.5. Could be a nice day.

Just heard the Met Man on R4. He says there was -1C frost in one of the glens last night!

This just caught my eye, just above the right hand chimney stack at 11 o'clock. One lonely cloud crossing an otherwise clear sky from East to West. It was much bigger when I first noticed it and shortly after I made the pic it vanished. Funny things clouds, they don't often change as fast as this one did. I know nothing about what causes an odd cloud like this or what caused it to dissolve so quickly. Fascinating.

You can come for a walk with me any time Cath! Just back from a nice walk on a good summer's morning. Jack met his mates and had a good run round and I talked to one lady who walks up Weets at 5am every morning with her whippet. It shows, she looked to be in wonderful health. One old dog came up to me for a bit of attention and the old bloke with it said I was honoured, his dog usually ignores everyone. I told him that they recognised the good guys! Good start to the day.

Cloud cover this morning. Light East wind and glass back to 29.3".  Wosening a bit. Perhaps it will burn off for the morning.

Overcast this morning and some light rain during the night. Glass fallen to 28.8" and wind in the SW. All the signs of heavier rain.

Just back from me walk. If it doesn't rain inside an hour I'll be very surprised. Heavy dark overcast coming in.

Just back from Letcliffe, a bit wet but it cleared up while I was up there. Jack has had his early bath and rub-down. He loves It!
