There seems to have been some sort of minor explosion somewhere down the back of Ouzuldale Foundry. I was out with the dogs and I heard a loud bang and a few minutes later the air was full of the sound of sierns.I walked along the canal towpath in that area 20 mins later and there was a lot of people standing around , doesnt seem to be much damage. Quite a bit of police activity outside a house on Conway Cresant so my guess would be that children were involved somewhere!

I wondered what all the sirens were. The grapevine will be buzzing tomorrow, no doubt.....

My son , whos in the fire service, was called out to the incident, and told me that they could not find any cause for the explosion, which could be heard quite a distance, so it remains a mystery ...
