Does anyone know why the main body of the OG Home page has suddenly started to come up blank when I login?

At the bottom of the screen there's a message about a runtime error and it mentions the weather module (which I don't have on my page as far as I know).

I can access the various pages from the top menu bar but obviously it's not as convenient.

No problem here - apart from my computer is playing silly beggars and taking ages to do anything.

No problem here neither, thank goodness. I do get the login page sometimes, don't know why that happens - maybe for security reasons ?

Mine's the same after 6pm, things slow down and, later, very late strange things happen. It has a mind of its own !

Back to normal now but I didn't do/change/restart anything. It was the same whether using Safari, Firefox or IE.

Luckily I don't usually experience any slowing down in the evenings (famous last words...)

When the new Barnoldswick website starts I'm going to ask them to make sure all OSs are catered for. The Sky Portal does a great job for OG but - from a layperson's point of view - it does seem to be lacking in certain areas...Go to Top of Page

That's why Doc is still working on it. Sky Portal is obsolete now and very expensive. He's still; paying......

Doh!! my own fault, I had knocked one of the aerials flat on my modem when I dusted. All OK now. I suppose the slowness at night is with so many people on line, I don't know if mine does it as I don't use it at night.

Neither do I Moh. I'd rather watch telly. Nice programme on symphonies last night on BBC4.

The problem seemed to right itself, then reverted to a blank screen, then righted itself, etc, etc.

Noticing the error message at the foot of the page, I removed the weather module from  the myMax part of the Members dropdown menu. Fingers crossed, this seems to have done the trick.Go to Top of Page
