Questions about this subject keep cropping up amid closely related topics, so I thought it may be a good idea to expand on the subject. I will not go on about my qualifications to discuss Canal Boats so lets just give it a go and see what transpires.

Speaking as  a man with a 29" inside leg on a good day all I can say is admit nothing H.  Remember they have further to bend down and it will get worse as they get older.  The best goods come in small parcels.

I think they will be all right with the step I swapped for the railway books.  Vry solid plastic and a non-skid top.  As long as H doesn't put too much weight on with having no stairs......

I should think the worry of moving will take a bit off her first....I hope that window is wide enough!

What - are YOU saying I'm too podgy to fit through? Hee hee only joking

My theory is that 'no stairs' will be cancelled out by 'many canal locks'. However, 'no nicotine' means 'instant weight gain'. On the other hand, stress and worry burn up a lot of calories. We shall see.Go to Top of Page

You must be joking - Muggins here will be doing all the running around while E and Boo cruise gracefully along the water, probably sipping G&Ts (Boo's fave tipple) under a parasol.

E's excuse reason is her dodgy arm, a result of the lymph glands being whipped out when she had the op, and Boo is 105 in human years so has decided to retire from any activity that doesn't involve food in some way, with the exception of sleeping.

That E is swinging the lead I reckon.  So she's doing the cooking and cleaning and engineering maintenance?

Yes, the Christmas ones were on full display in Morrison's yesterday - EatMe I think they were called. Never liked them much myself. I think it's because they look disgusting and seem to be a bit slimy. Go to Top of Page
