I went up Letcliffe today in the sunshine with the birds singing and only a light breeze from the NW to spoil things so I decided you were right and it's probably about time we started to be optimistic.  However.....  have you seen the forecast for Easter?

Constant drizzle here this morning. I've just paddled round the fields with the dog, and the combine is starting up in the barley field next to Bleara. What a depressing sight, the grain will be soaking wet.

We were dry, bit drizzly after dinner.  Damp slates but not drizzling now.

We had 28C today,  I'm sure it wasn't forecast - I kept saying 'Gee, it's warm today ... ').  Back to 18C for Sunday with early showers.
That's SPRING  for you.  Smile

Mags says it's cold (15C) wet and windy in Perth.  Barlick has been mizzly up to now but it's brightening up.  Off to Letcliffe I think!

Mild and dry but a bit murky in places. Should develop into another nice day like yesterday.

I've had Misty out early doors and I'll take Dan up Holt House for rugby training. If he has a match this afternoon I'll go and watch him if not I'm going to do some painting.

Busy with work at the moment and spent a fair bit of yesterday preparing for some local authority assesments that start next week. I can see next weekend being used up fully with this but I'll make damn sure I get the time back and try and time it for some nice autumn weather. Nolic

Lovely here now but a few dark clouds lurking on the horizon.  Nice to see the moon and stars last night for a change.

We had an almighty storm last night, it was great, didn't see any damage around today.  Lot's of blossom and daisie's blooming, I was inspired to go to our local garden supplies and buy some flowering plants, will get them potted up tomorrow.  We have another storm early tomorrow morning with 90K winds, we've been advised to batten down the hatches and leave for work 15mins early ... Confused
Marilyn and David are in Wickham St Pauls (near Halstead) in Essex, she describes it as a beautiful English village, they are staying in a delightful cottage that is attached to a lovely pub overlooking the village green.  They will soon be heading for Canvey Island (David's birthplace)  then home.

Did you mean pail-lasse Stanley?  No washing here today, we are having a wild and woolly one, lots of rain with hailstones, won't be potting up plants either ... Cry

Dry night but just emptied Jack and a few spots of rain are falling.  Quiet weather with glass well up, no drama.

As there now appears to be a little light I'll take Misty out. Feels a bit warmer than yesterday. Nolic
