I went up Letcliffe today in the sunshine with the birds singing and only a light breeze from the NW to spoil things so I decided you were right and it's probably about time we started to be optimistic.  However.....  have you seen the forecast for Easter?

We had about 3hrs of strong sun today, took advantage to get some washing dry and I went for a walk, it was lovely.  It's still bright and clear outside, but a bit chilly now.

Nothing better on the horizon Moh and dark till 06:30 on a cloudy morning.  Just emptied Jack, flags are dry but complete cloud cover and it could be raining in an hour.  Heat is set very low but it has kicked in for the first time ths year.

It's arrived here Comrade.  Heavy and constant rain and from what the forecast says, even worse tomorrow as there is a wind expected....  Great!  Good writing weather.  Jack was agitating to go out but not a biggie because he is already emptied.  I opened the back door and let him have a look at the weather.  He took one look and literally shot back inside.  What an intelligent dog!  He is happily playing with his hard rubber ball........

Adelaide temperature reached 17C today, lovely bright day.  Friday should reach 18C with fine conditions.  Sunday to Tues - showers.

Plenty of snow predicted for our eastern state ski-resorts for the next few days - come on down, ha ha.

Swallows ready to fly  Swallows on line

These swallows know the weather is changing and it's time to get back to the warmth of Africa. Here in Somerset there were about a hundred gathered on the power lines behind our house on the weekend. When another group came along they joined up and off they went!

It seems like someone switched  a switch on the 1st September. Now in the Morning we have a heavy dew on the grass, and you notice it cooler. In the afternoon we have had almost wall to wall Sunshine with clear blue sky. I could manage with this all year round .
