great im pleased it got to you in one piece and you like it!!! it cost £21 to post so they had better do what they said LOL!! but mum paid for insurance just in case they damaged it or lost it. im just about to send you my scanned pic, i think its probably better than the one mum sent you, as she messes around with it to make it smaller for the web

Got the high res scan Connor, thanks for that. As for mthe pic, I have it propped up in the room and keep soaking it in. Problem is that it's spooky. The eyes follow you round the room......

A friend of mine has asked me to post a couple of her father's pencil sketches for comment. He doesn't think he's very good but she believes he is.....
I think he's pretty good and would value any comments.
Cheers

He's good enough for me to recognise the second as Ouzledale. Accurate drawings convey information better than photographs and these are excellent.
By the way, everyone who has seen Conor's drawing is knocked out by it. I haven't hung it yet, I'm still sitting looking at it.

I don't mind saying I shed a tear when watching the YouTube clip Tom. Very powerful stuff and an amazing talent as you say.

She's good isn't she Ian,very powerful stuff,i once knew a Ukranian guy who escaped during the Russian invasion when he was nine yrs old and came to Britain, some of the tales were frightening, especially the one of how they killed his father,horrific...

Kev, if I could draw as well as your friend's father does I would be very, very pleased with myself. The trouble is we all have a tendency to compare ourselves against the very best and then decide we are no good at all if we cannot match the maestros exactly.
