As there seems to be quite a bit of artistic talent around here, I thought I would start a pencil sketch section .....

I've PM'd Doc and Pluggy to see if they have any ideas and suggested they reply to the thread rather than in a PM.

Sorry to divert the topic again but I have just read the one before it about Arthur Roberts and the black book. Not only is the post very long, like tickertape, it has no reply box...is this a temporary blip?

Hmm, Yes, something not right.

Doesn't work with external images either.....

At a guess, (I haven't been contacted, so I don't know) Doc has it 'in bits' trying to transfer stuff.

I'm having the same trouble both on my own PC and the one at work, Both of them running Firefox. I can't post images when replying to topics.

The problem seemed to start last week when Firefox fired out an update. The site itself has not been changed at all

Internet Explorer users don't seem to be having a problem

I'm scratching my head for ideas, but I think firefox is not entirly blameless

may be we have to wait for the next update.

Craven A   Shinola

I've inserted these two pics using the Epiphany browser which comes as a default in Ubuntu (see under Applications | Internet menu). The Craven A is one I submitted the old way through the Submit Picture and Shinola I have just done now through ` Upload'  in the Insert Image dialog box. It confirms that the problem is likely to be with Firefox. It also offers a way for Ubuntu users to post pics - resort to Epiphany!

Conor - I apologise for having hijacked your thread to sort out this picture problem. Just ignore us, we'll go away eventually!

Apologies from me as well Conor but this is bloody serious! There was a big update for Firefox on Ubuntu this morning that required a restart. I thought Aha! here's the solution, they've found the bug! No such luck, still the same.....

Conor! I need to see my woman again!
