I love garlic Maz but cannot stand nuts.  I am feeling more like myself apart from no appetite - that is not a bad thing, could do with losing weight.  Roast lamb shoulder tonight with cauliflower, jerseys and mint sauce.

Moh, I have this theory that we are very similar to cows, we graze selectively and only eat what is good for us by instinct. Best heifer I ever had loved docks and spent all day looking for them. Most cows leave them but this one was a mobile dock killer. I have no doubt she did it for a reason. Trust your instinct!

I had a punnet of Cherry Tomatoes that needed using, so that set me off making a lovely Tomato based Pasta Sauce. So Fettucini it is, with the sauce, and some shaved Parmesan. Crusty bread to accompany.
Simple but tasty.

Cold lamb, jerseys and caulflower cheese,  I managed a little more than last night so maybe things are improving - had a lettuce butty at lunch time, I just fancied it.

Not sure about today, no incentive to cook. Put a loaf in and think Butties?

Oh Stanley....maybe you are getting what Moh had. (and I had for a few days too)

Made a big pot of Veggie Soup today.
It's got Onion, Carrot, Potato, Cauliflower, Zucchini, Pumpkin, Peas and Sweetcorn in it. I had a half a cup of it for afternoon tea. It was delicious.
Enough there for two nights.

hope youre better soon Moh, we have all had something similar..d is trudging off to work with it every day..Maz..somemeals back you cooked rocket.. I didn't know you could cook it but that's a grea tip as i love it in salads but the bags are so big it always gets tired before i can finish it..so will shove it in some soup or a pasta dish now.
Slim Pickings here this week. so it's eek out time .. in the fridge I have one pack of cheap mince, half a pepper, a squash, small lettuce, one tomato, and three cheese slices. In the larder one small packet of jersey pots...looks like cheeseburgers and salad..

No Maz, I'm OK just a bit fed up with me own cooking! Butcher's day today, must do something adventurous!  Roast a ham hock?

I boiled some ham and made a half price bag of Jersey Royals into potato salad with salad cream and a big bunch of chives from the front garden. Nice change.

Chicken stir fry tonight with a glass of water - guess what Maz I have not had a glass of wine for two weeks, nor do I fancy one!!!!!  I wish my appetite would come back, apparently I have had a virus infection and my salt levels are very low - which apparently takes time to recover from.

A late and large Lasagne tonight with proper cheese sauce, not the insipid stuff, late because the Memsahib wont be home from work until 8.30 so I should have it ready for 9.00. Oh yes and a good French Red and garlic bread, bicarb mouthwash tomorrow morning.
