Are you refering to working on OGFB or on your own word processor or whatever.

I have found that using the old Wordstar (and other progs.) combinations of Ctrl+C for copy and Ctrl+V for paste seem to work on OGFB.

Thanks for your help.
It's when I am trying to send a link either by e-mail or by placing one on a forum. I can highlight the www. address on the address bar but when I press edit to go to copy, it unhighlights itself. There is probably some simple answer but I cannot see the wood for the trees.

I do a right click on the mouse, then choose copy from the drop down menu which appears.  At the destination - right click again, then choose paste.  Works for me.

You do not say which Operating System you are using. I am not sure if the above method I quoted will work with Windows but it does work with Ubuntu. So I would try highlight followed by Ctrl+C to copy followed by Ctrl+V to paste at the destination. It may get you out of trouble until you find what is causing your problem.

I am not sure why you are pressing "edit" rather than doing a right click as Tripps suggests. This is the usual way as far as I know, although  "edit" should work as well.
