Description: This pic is new to me and is of Bracewell Hall from the SW. It looks as though it's about 1910 to me but this is just a guess.

We lived in the remnants of Bracewell Hall from 1948 to 1975 (I was born in 54). Much of it had been demolished in the 40's and it was very much as it is today. i believe that Andrew Bargh lives in it now. On the slpoe at the back of the hall, is a house which looks much the same as today then on it's right presumably we can see King Henry's parlour. On the very far right I think we can just see the tower of Bracewell church. The main edifice which you can see with the tower was demolished and became our garden leading to a slope then down to the artificial lake. Our lounge was said to be the old coach house and i think must be behind the building we can see. Although on closeer inspection the round window on the gable end looks very familiar. None of the building at that level to the left of the gable end survived. I don't know if anyone has a map of the original which could be compared to what is left today. The "game house" has survived more or less in tact as you approach the hall from the church side, but I've never seen any old pictures from that side (the back of the house). hope this stimulates some discussion.
