Saw this steeplejack stuff  on ebay. When i was jacking, we didnt have gear like this. Just shows what the trade's come to over the years.

I can see no toe protection, and is there sole protection ?, other than that i think they would be grand for some of the sweaty footed buggers ive met

I watched a TV programme that had some rope access lads working on it. It may be safe but I have never seen so much harness and so many ropes in me life! Looked terribly restrictive.

I like it. Looks as though they have a restraining cable on it to give him an anchor for pulling the pecker into the brickwork. Can't you just imagine the Safety Man complaining that the machine hadn't got a roll-over cage!

if anyone wants a laugh our latest stack felling operation is on youtube but its not youre bog standard drop it involes 4 volkswagon pickups its on a job in reading the old berkshire  brewery,, hope all are well and good been down there for last 8 weeks and have another 25 ahead............. volkswagon chimney pull,,,,should find it
