New topic intended for posting examples of all artwork.  Please post your pics here, even the ones that are in other topics.  It makes it easier for everyone to find the wonderful stuff you have already posted.

We have been surrounded in mist all day, and continuous rain if it is like that tomorrow i would rathe call it off until another time. I'll phone you in the morning , and I will give you my number in a PM Wendy. Stanley I will let you know what I will do with e plant , I may come over for it any way

Rob I will PM you my number too, so you can phone me. Mind you i will have to leave by 8.15-8.30 as I have to cross Rochdale to feed my daughters cat. Normally I would come out  through Bacup but it will have to be Owd Betts. Does anyone know the weather forecast

Just pm'd you Sue, I agree, not pleasant painting outdoors in the wind and rain, particularly watercolour!!

Tried to pm you Wendy, but your inbox seems to be full, but it would be great if we can reschedule for a week or two ahead, I was really looking forward to our get together.

Is that ok with you Belle and Moh, even if it is cold and frosty painting outside is fine, it is just the wet and mist that puts a damper on things.

Lets keep in touch and rearrange soon....

Best Regards
Rob

I have cleared my inbox. I think you have made the right decision, it is absolutely lashing down at the moment and tomorrow looks even worse. Another time!

My operation is the 29th October. I was given 20th September but had to decline due to a short holiday and a family wedding. I am sure we can find something before the 29th and when i am here.

Stanley I will come over for the plant anyway, will combine it with a trip to Empress Mill. I will come in the aftenoon after lunch then I can schedule a swim in the morning ( in the swimming pool not in the garden pond!!!)

So it will be about 2.30 pm then I can go to Empress Mill afterwards
for a browse

Its brightening up. Its changed from Torrential to very heavy rain!

So glad we called it off

See you later Stanley. Bob and I are going swimming then driving over via lunch at Owd Betts, and Empress Mill. Then we have to get back because the central heating boiler has burnt out , He replaced it yesterday but there is still a small leak to sort out

Just caught up with you all and see it's been called off...which saves me the bother of explaining I am very under the weather and won't be coming...been off for a couple of days stomach and back but eventually had to resort to painkillers about 5 this morning and have just woken up!! i can hardly sit in my own chair so driving would have been out of the question.
Anyway I am pleased I shan't miss it.  Hopefully be right as rain next time.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling good Belle, I hope you make a speedy recovery.  I was worried you might have been on your way. Ah well, at least I can enoy the house being unusually clean & tidy.

I thought there was no point ringing you Wendy when I saw the weather, so went for some retail therapy at Boundary Mill.  The sky is lovely and blue now.  Hope it is nicer for the next time.  Hope you are feeling a bit better Belle - no use aggrevating things by driving.

Belle, bad does, hope you feel better soon.  We had a good swim but the gym was heaving  with people. I did my back exercises and then my 30 lengths. The weather cleared up whilst at Owd Betts and we had lovely views across the hills from our seat in the window, that is until the delivery van arrived!!.

Got to Stanley about 2.00ish , had a coffee and a natter and called at Empres mill on the way home. I didn't buy anything and declined the offer from Bob to go to Boundary mill as well. Its an expensive week this week. Everything starts again so i have three Art class fees to pay out.

Thanks for the plant Stanley and very healthy it looked too. It is now repotted in a big pot to accommodate all those roots, and sitting in the greenhouse where i have the door permanently open at this time of year. It is with  friends which are all on their way to france either this Autumn or next Spring

I also took the time to prepare , blanch and freeze a few pounds of runner beans, courtesy of our french tutor  at the U3A

Just now catching up on the days mail and such, with OF COURSE the sun streaming into the lounge!

Another time  soon perhaps.
