So sorry to here the news Flutters. The same thing has happened to my brother who had a major stroke in November. Hope you get over it ASAP, I like I hope my brother does. It affects everything doesn't it . He had his own business but is now unable to work. He also used to paint but can't now

Not our current project so apologies, but having started using oil in the last couple of weeks I have been dabbling with my favourite subject matter. This is Oldroyd Mll at Todmorden, c1840.

Thanks all, it has been an eye opener to start using oil paint, compared with watercolour it is a lot more forgiving.
I am starting to paint a series of pictures of the mills of the calder valley, plenty to go at and very challenging.

Wonderful bloks. Reflections are brilliant. Are you using canvas or prepared wood?
Don't wait for me Maz. No painting this weekend due to shoulder problems form fall on Friday. Nolic

OK Nolic. Speedy recovery, but remember 'USE IT OR LOSE IT' when it comes to injury. I shall email my sunset pic to Stanley shortly. It is done in pastels...
