New topic intended for posting examples of all artwork.  Please post your pics here, even the ones that are in other topics.  It makes it easier for everyone to find the wonderful stuff you have already posted.

We have launched our new venture here in Rossendale, the Milltown Gallery and Art Studios have hit the ground running.

One of our commercial properties, a former millowners house dating back to the1840s is the home for five local artists, gallery space and my new picture framing workshop.

Lots of work to do before we open to the public, but aiming to open by mid October, looking forward to moving things forwards though.

Hi Belle, yes, 'fraid the move is off once again!!!

No takers for the house so here we must stay, but plenty to keep us occupied with the new venture.
Like your painting, what medium is that?? and how big...

Sue, the gallery and studios are on Burnley Road East in Waterfoot.
We have studio space for five artists, two are already taken and a maybe on the third, so filling nicely the first artist moved his stuff in today so can't wait.
We have gallery hanging space as well, plus the framing side of things which will be open to everyone as will the working studios.

Best of luck with it all Robin. There is always a market for quality even when money is tight.

Robin, it's a bit of a mish mash ..pen, watercolour pencil, watercolour paint...but for some reason I can't find my watercolour paper so it.s done on pastel paper.  A4
Are you going to have an artists space as well as the framing or have you  resisted?

Thanks Stanley, you are quite right, quality will always prevail even when times are tough, plus the space was empty, though very comfortable and there seems to be a demand from artists for space to work in.

"Mixed Media" is what they call it Belle, it looks the part.

I will stick my easel up either in the framing area or camp in another artists space, hoping to learn something, it will be very exciting....

Thanks Cathy, I have always worked on the basis that it is better to get on and do things than just think about it, could be classed as being impulsive.

Having had the kidney failure since 14 yrs of age and being on the third transplant, I have always used my problems as an incentive to do things, time is always of the essence and I always pack as much in as possible between each transplant!!

Belle, anytime you would like to hold a drawing class in the studio you are more than welcome, even once a month would be ok....
