Either date would do , prefer wed ...need to look at forecast beforehand.  I park either in the museum car park at the top of the town, or the one opposite the edinburgh woollen mill. Do we want townscapes or landscapes....?
Sue, have you gone on google maps? They will direct you , and if you go to sattelite view and then pull the little orange man down onto the street you can get street view, which will show youexactly what the area is like, and can be of great assistance in recognising where you are going.

Sounds good, Wednesday will be fine, we can keep a check on the forecast beforehand.

Happy with either townscapes or landscapes, is the museum you mention Belle, somwhere near the parsonage??
Plenty of interesting subject matter in the locality....

Yes, it is the parsonage..there are two car parks, the best one is right at the top of the town, go through Haworth from Keighley as if you were heading to Stanbury and beyond and follow the signs at the top of the town. It is just beside the parsonage and the town is easily accessed. The other official Bronte car park is more remote, it involves walking through the graveyard to the town, and can be very slippery in wet weather, so I avoid that one. The other one I use, as I have said is on the main road across from the Edinburgh woollen mill. Probably a good idea to have a look round with google so that we have some views in mind... as I remember it there are a few shots through the houses on the right of the main street that look over the valley beyond...so we may be able to get the best of both worlds.

Hi Belle,    The ghost of  19th century Haworth quarry owner, Johnny " Big Block " has apparently been seen wandering through where his quarry was located.
The area is now a coach park for a certain well known hotel. Grrrrrr

Do you think he would stand still long enough to be painted?

We stayed in a house in Foulridge and I got the frights one night when the floorboards started creaking next to the bed, in a way that suggested someone was walking up toward the head of the bed.  Nearly crapped myself. I was terrified.
