Same here Moh. This morning is a clear starry sly, light breeze, dry, cool and glass risen to 28.9". Looks like another nice back end day.

High tide this evening resulted in the highest water level I have seen at The Bridge On Wool in Wadebridge , since I have been here .

The water was hardly flowing (backing up against the tide ), but was almost upto the tops of the arches.....If Monday's  heavy rain had continued a little longer , I dread  to think where all that  extra water would have gone......

It's evident that the moor is saturated , and that Wadebridge's flood control system is working.......(for now)

We were very cloudy yesterday and it rained later. Glass risen during the night to 29.2", flags are wet but it's fine at the moment with no wind.

I saw the rain forecast for SW and thought about you Brad.

Warm here...25 degrees C, but it started to cloud over, so Febby raced around with the lawn mower before lunch.
Has rained since. (the sound of which forced me to have a little  lay down on the bed, mid afternoon, in order to enjoy it fully!)
Ok...ok...so I had a wee nap...(much enjoyed)     Laughing

Lovely day here as well. Glass steady on 29.2". Clear sky and dry, bit of breeze. Another good day from the look of it but perhaps some light rain later?

Sign of the times. Lit a small fire last night.

Roast duck Stanley? New fire installed in the front room this year. Photo to follow when I have remembered how.

It's the memorial flight. What was the name of the woman in Corrie who always had one diminishing duck taking a dive? These are brass and have red glass eyes..... Nothing quite as comforting as a nice tea in front of an open fire.

Hilda Ogden - had a flight of 3 on her wall.  Strange day today, sunshine & showers, where I am sitting there are black clouds to my left and blue sky to the right.  Feels cooler too, although the wind is from the south.
