As there are a number of artists among our midst, I thought I would start a topic for watercolour painting.

"I  am now radiating a beautiful perfume of white spirit"

Don't light any matches anyone!

I bet Stanley's perfume is something like Eau de WD-40 when he's doing his engines.

I believe it keeps the flies away, but there aren't many flies around now. I made a mistake of washing my spirit loaded clothes with other clothes, looks like I will smell for weeks!!!!

I have had to learn to get on with it, regardless of environment, in our 'wee hoose' so i can have one corner of the kitchen spread with laundry another with Art stuff and be able to make tea for four in the 6 square inches of work surface left!

I wondered if I could download the videos on to a disc, with some of my other Art stuff. I seem to be accumulating quite a library of Art books, and DVDs

I am going to enjoy getting back into the painting this holiday, given half a chance, so the above link will be very interesting.

Bob has successfully downloaded the videos, and I can now play them on my laptop, a bit at a time whilst I practice the techniques

Definitely looks like a good day out.

Just noticed Pete's comment about my perfume being WD-40.  The kids tell me it's cutting oil and pipe tobacco.  You have to come through the workshop to get into the house via the back door and it's amazing how many people comment favourably on the smell.

Tom mentioned posting on the watercolour forum as well as the steeplejacks corner, so this is the latest offering.
