(yes SUGAR Stanley....you have Diabetes remember!)

41 degrees C here today. Appetites non existent. No breakfast, had a couple of Rice Crackers for lunch and hopefully I can get up the energy to throw together a couple of Salad sandwiches for us for dinner.
We do find that an icy cold beer goes down a treat mid afternoon in this climate...

No Maz. I realised I have my first heavy cold for ages and that's why I ache. It's on my chest now and of course I am dying! I am doing all the right things, hoping the flu and pneumonia jabs are helping and being thoroughly miserable.... So, hardly any food yesterday..... Must get well for January 11th when Deadly comes to fit me stove!

Katie had a set-back Maz, early miscarriage of first conception. She is over it now and is OK.....

Sorry about Katie too...

Stanley, you have us worried. (have you been secretly visiting my sister...she has a cold now too!)

Salmon Cakes tonight, with Salad. Couldn't eat it all unfortunately.
Weather cooling off tomorrow so perhaps appetite will return.

I love the title of this topic..first of all it gives the impression that we eat together like one big happy family..then it implies that we're all a bit gaga and can't remember exactly what we had!

Nurse...  what day is it?

Suddenly felt hungry so I had a chip butty for tea. Have lost about 4lbs over the last week..... Things could be looking up.

Maz, No but Susan and I have worked it out that her husband Mick brought the bug to the party on Dec 22. Four of us have got it......

Meat & potato pie tonight - Maz the thought of salad makes me cringe in this horrible weather - calls for comfort food.
