Warm and muggy, good growing weather. Almost 60F and the glass is tending to fall, it's at about 20.3 inches at the moment. One or two rumbles of thundr last night but nothing severe and no great weight of rain. Looking good.

We had some nice rain over the last 24 hours, warm, not too heavy and persistent, exactly what we needed. Everything is looking fresh and green and there must have been more than I thought, Butts beck was recovering yesterday morning and by afternoon was quite a healthy flow. Only thing that bothered me was it was a nasty grey colour as though someone had discharged something up stream, not the helthy brown colour of a normal spate. Glass has dropped back to 29" but no wind and it's very warm and growy.

Getting slightly cooler and slightly cloudier each day.
I've had to resort to wearing socks and pulling the bedclothes up at night after sleeping without any for six months.
Mr.Whimpy bought an electric blanket last week...

Dry morning, glass risen to 29.4". We are getting nice weather, sun and occasional showers. Just right. The gardens are happy!

Same report today. We are having the best of all worlds at the moment. The hawthorn blossom is out at the 750ft level. Not long now until it will be safe to put the bedding plants out!

Our gardens are happy too. Raining most of the night and most of today. Occasional parting of the clouds to reveal blue skies, but you have to be quick to notice.
My Oranges and Mandarines will be ready to eat in just a few weeks. I am looking forward to those...

We're getting plenty of sun in between the cloudy bits Maz. Glass has dropped slightly but it's still very easy weather to live with.

Bit of a cooler trend coming in, the heating kicked in this morning. Not unusual, we often get a late frost in May. They keep talking about 'low pressure' but it's relative. Unless my barometer has gone on strike we are still hovering round 29.4" Occasional showers, a bit more breeze last night but still easy to live with.

Chilly NW wind but a bright morning with the promise of an occasional light shower. Things could be worse! Wind expected to veer westerly and more rain tomorrow perhaps.

No wind this morning, dry and cool, the heat has cracked on. Wind expected to swing to the west and some rain later. Surprisingly the glass has risen slightly to 29.5". No great weight of rain yet, I've noticed that the ground under trees and bushes in full leaf is still very dry.

Cloudy, blustery west wind and it looks like yesterday but perhaps slightly warmer. Things could be a lot worse!
