The skips that were washed down with the flood and caused damage by blocking the culvert under Lamb Hill were not from Bancroft, they were from Wild Brothers original garage which was just above Bancroft on Gillians Lane. I have an idea they abandoned this site after the flood and worked from then on out of the garage at Cobden Street, now demolished and replaced by housing.
