Have any of you lot read "Road to Nab End" (William woodruff).
I'm taking it with me this weekend as my holiday read and wondered what your thoughts are.
Oilcan, I enjoyed Da Vinci Code. I can understand why it's been so controversial but I took it as a light hearted read between the dips in the caribbean.

Mel,
I enjoyed The Road to Nab End and thought it gave a true reflection of northern life in the thirties. Didn't enjoy the sequel `Beyond Nab End' as much, perhaps becaue it was too much of a `muchness'.

Just finished reading "Dracula" - the original by Bram Stoker. Very interestingly written - not as a novel, but as a collection of Journal entries made by some of the main characters, and letters written.
Highly recommended reading, but not if you live alone...it's scary!

Sue, it can take them months to update the info on the search sites. Funny thing is that some of mine have sold as Ebooks even though they are not on any site I have looked at. Same applies to Google Books.

Nice to hear that Sue. They looked a bit more vigorous than the first lot I gave you. Hope they speak French.......
