With the sites software recently upgraded it will be inevitable that one or two bugs may be found by users.
If you encounter any of these bugs then please reply to this post and I will address them accordingly.
Many thanks

A small bug which prevented editing your profiles and also allowing guests to register as members has now been resolved.

Remember me telling you about the strange option that appeared in the menu? I was reading Cooperation in Stanley's View this morning and instead of using the back button I used the 'down arrow' on the top menu of Internet Explorer to go back and the top option of pages that I had visited recently was FCKeditor. Is this the new topic editor you have put up?

Excuse me please but how come when I try to click on a photo from the list on the home page all I get is a list of thousands of photos to choose from. Am I having a "blonde moment" as Katie would say or is it a problem others are having??

Mags, it seems to be just that last pic, Family Gathering. The others work OK for me.

I was logged out by the system and had to log on again. Then my browser shut down. Soft- or hardware problem? Restarted and logged on OK.

Thanks Doc. Cookies are enabled by the way.
Now I seem to have another problem - I cannot log out!
When I went to the site I was already logged in and I am sure I logged out last time.
Is it a problem if I am not logged out?

The logout routine as got a glitche in it which im sorting, however leaving the site without logging out as no detrimental effects whatsoever, its up to you wether you log out or not.
The software will automatically remove you from the active user list once your account as been idle for more than 20 minutes.

I am having trouble finding the BROWSE button when trying to upload a photo. I am only getting the option of showing an URL.
Don't know whether I am being teknikali inept again or whether this is a bug, but my apologies to whoever has to read the information with the photo that isn't! (Cowgill, Wilkinson, Bell family photo ca. 1900).

Keep up the good work.

I have been trying for days to change my little message across the bottom. It has now been accepted. Stanley I noticed the fck editor on the bottom menu - but I didn't say anything because I am tactful, polite, ladylike etc etc.
When typping replies it takes for ages to rectify a mistake..(.I'm leaving that one.), my arrows and delete button take foreever to work on this site, and pressing my back button doesn't take me back anymore. boo hoo
All thru the fields and meadows gay .... Enjoy Take Care...Cathy |

Anni - I looked into this but couldn't replicate your problem, every thing seems fine at this end, If you still have further problems then let us know by replying to this topic. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Stanley - I have re-edited your topic and found that you used the old forum code [ img] to insert your pic, with this editor you no longer use those bracketed commands, I inserted the pic using the "Insert/Edit Image" icon on the editor menu. All seems to be fine now.
Cathy - The Edit Profile Bug was fixed earlier this week, hence you can now edit your messages in your profile. With regards to your "Arrows & Delete Buttons" - PASS. With regards to the Back Button - The way this editor works is to load up the document/topic then load up the editor itself. Pressing the back button once it has loaded will effectively take the screen back to where the document loaded hence you will not see any changes on screen, pressing the back button again for the second time will then reverse the screen to your previous screen. I know this isn't perfect but once you get used to hitting the back button twice its not to bad concidering the expanded features this editor offers.
With regards to the editor, if i uncover anything better then I will upgrade to that editor software, in the meantime this is the best we can do, not perfect but there you go
Currently I'm off work till next tuesday, so I will be working on here ironing out all the bugs I can, so if you have found any bugs in this software and haven't notified us yet, now is the time to post them up.
Have fun
