It's amazing what you can get away with as the site's moderator. Remember what you told me in a message on 2/7/10 Stanley?

HCFwhat is wrong with giving credit to a generous shopkeeper?
I have mentioned my butcher on here a few times and we have a section on eating out where members can recommend places that they have dined. This is somewhat different to praising and recommending your own produce. Nolic

Nolic I agree totally which is why I stopped mentioning my own produce some time ago and removed the URL of our website from the signature line of my posts.
I do however remember at the end of last year Stanley removed a post from one of my customers (and I still don't know which one) that was praising our meat and quality of service. Banging on about the same butcher all the time stinks of dual standards to me.
Stanley is the best one to comment on whether he should post on the generosity of Browns in the light of his private message to me last July.
Incidentally there is another 'friend of the establishment' who advertises his own product on here every time he makes a post (quite regularly) and he goes uncensured. Dual standards again!!!

I don't think that's for me to say but if you look hard enough it's blatantly obvious!

Would it be around the end of April last year?...about computers?
Every silver lining has a cloud.

HCF ...are you a member of this site to contribute ?
or are you wanting to promote your own products ?.....
I don't remember seeing much positive input , or actually, much input at all , save the odd moan !
Just a quiet word in your ear... (and don't worry , nobody's listening) ..." Calm down , Dear " (Micheal Winner /David Cameron ) ...you might be being a bit too precious....eh!

Brad, as usual, has hit the nail on the head. Thanks to Catty as well, sharp as a needle! I'm not sure I'd have picked the connection up.
If you've any gripe with Stewart, take it up with him, don't use your occasional visits to the site to attack him behind his back.
As for me, pop away, as one member said in a PM to me about your attack, I have a broad back. You attack me (and the other moderators) because we support Pluggy. Brad's comment applies here as well, Plugs is the best source of practical help and advice on the use and management of computers we have on the site. He gives his advice freely and always has so we all supported him when he started his new business after being made redundant. This was universal, it didn't need a decision by the moderators, approval by acclamation. Go back and read the posts.
So your comments are superfluous because you have missed the basic point of Oneguy. We measure people by how they behave and what they contribute. I'm afraid you've failed on both counts. Notice that it was ordinary long-standing members who took issue with your post.
Back to the piste! As for the lamb chops, casseroled slowly with onions and peas and half went down very well with some chips. (Sorry Maz!) The other half will bite the dust this evening for tea.

For goodness sake does every topic have to be tainted by back biting? What is the site coming to?
The suet puddings last night were gorgeous - another 2 in the freezer for another day. Pot roast tonight - grandson & his wife coming again. It is good to cook for more than the two of us - feels worth while.

Ouch!!! I guess I hit a nerve, sorry.
Just to put the record straight Stanley................Yes I was having a pop at your behaviour but I have NEVER attacked Mr Brown on this forum nor at any time 'behind his back'.

Made a big pot of Pumpkin Soup yesterday afternoon. Lots left over for tonight. It was really yummy. I recently bought myself a new soup pot and I can make really big quantities now. Even after having the Pumpkin Soup for two nights on the trot there are four containers labelled for the freezer.
get your people to phone my people and we will do lunch...MAZ |

Hogget butty for lunch and two thin cheese and tomato butties for tea. Isn't it funny how some things go together so well. Cheese and tomato must be a world classic.
