The last couple of years , the artists and semi artists amongst us have had a go at painting the same picture. is anyone up for it this year

I would like to try painting this but dont know how it will turn out?/as I had another silght stroke two months ago which has unfortunately affected my vision I like the photo

I, ve done a quick pen and wash of it . New skill, not very good yet but working on it . I may even try oils

I'll have to wait till after the family have gone, my art room is back to it's previous function of bedroom at the moment.

I know the feeling well , Belle. My Art room and knitting ( machine) room is really our summer sitting room opening onto the conservatory . We don't venture in there in the winter as it is too cold. Uh !! but not too cold for me to paint . Actually I do tend to paint in the kitchen on the table, as there is a skylight above the table giving good lighting Sue

Hi Frank, the painting is approximately 15" by 11"...
Sue, I painted the reflections of the trees and the bridge etc onto pre wetted paper, then the sky reflection. I then quickly got a damp flat brush and made vertical strokes, which differs from my other paintings with water where I have always gone horizontaly... Rob
